Calendar Integration
GameMinder can generate a personal iCal feed that includes every upcoming session across all your campaigns. Subscribe to it once in your calendar app and your session schedule stays up to date automatically.
How it works
From your account settings in the web app, you can generate a personal calendar feed URL. Copy that URL and add it as a subscribed calendar in any iCal-compatible app. Your calendar app will periodically check the URL and pull in any new or updated sessions.
Each event in the feed represents a session you are a member of, and includes the session name, campaign name, and scheduled time.
Compatible calendar apps
The feed uses the standard iCal format (.ics), which is supported by most calendar applications, including:
- Google Calendar
- Apple Calendar (macOS and iOS)
- Microsoft Outlook
- Any other app that accepts an iCal subscription URL
Managing your feed token
The calendar feed URL contains a unique token tied to your account. You can manage this token from account settings:
- Regenerate: creates a new token and invalidates the old URL. Use this if you want to revoke access for a device or app that had the previous URL.
- Revoke: removes the token entirely. Any calendar apps subscribed to the old URL will stop receiving updates until you generate a new one.
Warning
Treat your calendar feed URL like a password. Anyone with the URL can see your upcoming session schedule. If the URL is ever shared accidentally, regenerate your token immediately.
